RESPONSIBILITY

Our supplychains consist of multinational, regional, national and local suppliers. We strive to create value and act responsibly, transparently and with respect for the human rights of every individual. Our suppliers are important partners in fulfilling our commitment.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

With our supplier standards, we define our expectations with regard to ethical business practices, safety and health, human rights and the environment. These standards apply to all of our suppliers and should be included in our supplier contracts.

DUE DILIGENCE

We conduct due diligence on existing and potential suppliers to assess their business practices from a risk perspective. If we recognize unacceptable risks at a supplier, we agree a number of remedial measures with them. If necessary, we support our suppliers in building capacities and with a view to better compliance with our supplier standards.

ETHICAL BEHAVIOR

Acting in ways consistent with what society and individuals typically think are good values. Ethical behavior tends to be good for business and involves demonstrating respect for key moral principles that include honesty, fairness, equality, dignity, diversity and individual rights.

We are committed to transparent and ethical behavior. Employees, contractors and suppliers are encouraged to report their concerns to supervisors or a local contact in the procurement department if they suspect potential violations of our Code of Conduct or our supplier standards.
